Fine Arts Camp ~ 2017

Join us for a fun week of music, art and dance!

Children entering Kindergarten through grade 8 are invited to learn from teachers, Joseph & Rebekah Waggoner,  who specialize in working with children of all ages, abilities and learning styles.  Campers will learn about the elements of singing while playing games and exploring various genres from sacred and spirituals to broadway and folk songs.  Music classes each day will involve a variety of instruments and include solfegge singing and notation.  The choir portion of the day will include elements of the music and singing classes, culminating in an end of the week concert.  Dance instructor, Jenn Sallade, will coordinate with the choirs to teach basic dance and choreography.

A “Mommy and Me” Class will be held each day for mothers of young children (lap babies through preschool welcome).  During this time, campers are invited to stay for a special art class where they can decorate their own camp shirt and create other beautiful projects.

Junior Apprentice positions are available for teens (9-12th) who are studying music and would like to assist in teaching.  Contact us for more information.

Space is limited and registration is on a first come-first serve basis.  See you there!
